Important Things To Know About Endocannabinoid System

The human body is the most complicated and efficient machine in the world. It’s made of different parts and systems that keep working round the clock in a fully automated way and control hundreds of functions that you aren’t even aware of. One such system that plays an integral part in the functioning of the human body is the endocannabinoid system. This post talks about ECS, its importance, and how it’s affected by CBD.

What Is Endocannabinoid System?

According to The AlcHempist, the endocannabinoid system was first identified way back in the 1990s by a team of researchers that was originally exploring THC. For those of you who don’t know, THC or tetrahydrocannabinol is a well-known compound called cannabinoid that is found in cannabis.

The last thirty years have been revolutionary when it comes to studies revolving around the endocannabinoid system. It plays a critical role in regulating a host of functions in the human body, including sleep, appetite, mood, reproduction, and memory.

That being said, regardless of whether you use CBD or not, ECS in your body is fully active. It comprises three components — enzymes, receptors, and endocannabinoids.

There are two main endocannabinoids present in the human body — anandamide and 2-arachidonoylglyerol or 2-AG. These two regulate the functioning of your body and make it smooth.

Receptors are present throughout the human body, and their main job is to bind with endocannabinoids to signal ECS regarding any actions that need to be taken whenever required. Receptors are of two types — CB1 receptors (present in the nervous system) and CB2 receptors (present in immune cells).

The role of enzymes is to break down endocannabinoids once they have carried out a specific task. Just like receptors, they are also of two types — fatty acid (amide hydrolyze) and monoacylglycerol.

ECS regulates and controls many functions in the human body, including appetite, metabolism, chronic pain, inflammation, sleep, mood, cardiovascular system, muscle formation, bone remodeling, skin and nerve functioning, reproduction and fertility, and stress management. CBD reacts with ECS immediately after you consume it, and therefore, has a direct impact on all the functions mentioned above.

What Are Some Top Technology Trends For Future of Business?

From industrialization to remote work and outsourcing, technology has already changed how businesses across the globe operate. This trend isn’t going to just stop here. In the coming years, there will be many new trends that will change the perception of individuals and organizations towards how businesses are run. This post talks about some of these major technology trend shifts and how will they affect organizations.

Technology Trends For Future:

One of the first changes will be related to business outsourcing. This trend started back in 1999 and has already given birth to a new industry called BPO. Going forward, more and more companies will look to outsource their business processes to offshore teams. One of the biggest reasons to outsource is cost-effectiveness and a trained workforce that can give you positive results from the first day itself.

Earlier, organizations had to hire employees and spend a good amount of time and money on their training. Over time, companies will switch to outsourcing most of their processes to gain a competitive advantage and increase productivity.

Cloud-based operations will become as normal as the local servers are at present. Organizations will be able to distribute work among their employees and teams sitting in different parts of the world through cloud-based platforms and make real-time changes in data without any hassle. It will boost cross-team collaboration and the overall productivity of businesses.

Blockchain is not new to the business world. In the coming years, it will expand to many other sectors that haven’t yet switched to blockchain completely, and enhance security, productivity, as well as decentralized business processing.

Governments and individuals have been talking about 5G technology for a long time. However, not many countries have been able to implement it yet. The next five years are going to be crucial for 5G technology’s adaptation by businesses and the speed at which they’ll be able to run their operations.

The examples given here are no more than the tip of the iceberg. A lot many new technology trends are going to make their way into business operations. Keep yourself updated and be ready to adapt them in the future.
