What is the Parents Council of CP?
PC of CP is a group of representatives consisting of parents, grandparents and other caregivers interested in promoting the mission of Commonwealth Parenting through their respective organizations. The Mission of Commonwealth Parenting is: To build a stronger community by teaching proactive parenting skills to parents and caregivers in central Virginia through quality education, communication and support.
What is PC of CP’s goal?
To develop strong and productive partnerships by connecting families and caregivers in schools, religious institutions, and other community groups in central Virginia to the services and resources provided by CP, as well as to related community resources groups that promote healthy, strong, stable and nurturing relationships.
Who can become a member of the Parents Council?
If you are a member of a PTA, a Parent Association, a Parent Education ministry in a faith based organization, a moms club, a neighborhood association, a networking group or an interested individual…we want you to join us!
